A memory of a summer on Mount Pelion in Greece, where to reach the sea you had to cross a natural grove of wild fig trees bathed in the sun. Philosykos is an ode to the entire fig tree: the green freshness of the leaves, the milky flavour of the figs and the density of the white wood.
"Philosykos" means "fig tree friend" in Greek. The inspiration was a tree, whose leaves and branches were brought by the founders of Diptyque in a souvenir box.
