A ROSE FULL OF CONTRASTS

The rose reveals the full spectrum of its enchanting fragrance from the top notes to the base notes. The vegetal nuances of the essence are combined with the rounder accents of the absolute, and rose water obtained from the distillation of the petals captures its most subtle and fragile facets, thanks to a process that combines innovation and "upcycling".

A MYSTERIOUS PATCHOULI

Evoking the soil of the Persian garden where the rose takes root, patchouli envelops the flower in dark, earthy contrasts, while a duo of musks envelops it in a halo of light.

ROSE ABSOLUTE
Grown in Grasse, the cradle of perfumery in the south of France, the Grasse rose has been used by Guerlain since 1828. The flower is first transformed into concrete through an extraction process, then washed and purified with alcohol to transform it into rose absolute.

To take its commitment even further, Guerlain has partnered with the non-profit organisation UEBT (Union for Ethical BioTrade) to certify its supply chains by 2026. Through this initiative, the 50 most emblematic supply chains are examined and improvement plans are implemented to ensure that Guerlain goes even further in the ethical and sustainable sourcing of its natural materials with each supplier and each producer.
