Key Ingredients

• Licochalcone A : Licochalcone A is a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant derived from the roots of the Chinese Licorice Plant. This plant utilizes the oxidative efficacy of Licochalcone A to protect cells from UV radiation. It builds an antioxidant reservoir in the deepest layer of the epidermis and offers proven protection against sun-induced cellular damage caused by free radicals. When applied to irritated skin, Licochalcone A rapidly reduces redness and helps soothe inflammation.
• Ceramides: Ceramides are important lipids in the hydrolipidic film (which protects the outer layers of the skin). Produced naturally in healthy skin, they strengthen the skin barrier, helping to prevent moisture loss due to evaporation and keeping out irritants that can cause inflammation and itching. When ceramide levels in the skin decrease, the skin barrier is compromised. The skin can start to lose water and become dry and irritated.
• Grapeseed Oil : Grapeseed oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids and vitamin E. The polyphenols and flavonoids found in grapeseed oil are potent antioxidant compounds and thus provide protection against damage caused by free radicals, while linoleic acid soothes and nourishes the skin.
